Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Cookie Cub handles information. Cookie Cub is developed and published personally by Matt under the Bamboo Vale Games brand.

Information Cookie Cub stores locally

Cookie Cub stores the following information on your device so the game can work as expected:

• your best score;
• music and sound-effects preferences; and
• a local Remove Ads entitlement/cache.

Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) may separately store consent or privacy state needed for its operation.

Information Cookie Cub does not directly collect

Cookie Cub does not create accounts or logins, ask for names, email addresses, phone numbers, birth dates, postal addresses, contacts, precise location, camera or microphone access, photos or media, Bluetooth information, health information, or user files.

The game does not operate a Bamboo Vale Games analytics, crash-reporting, cloud-save, push-notification, social, or custom backend service. It does not upload gameplay, scores, settings, or progress to a Bamboo Vale Games server.

Advertising and third-party services

Cookie Cub uses Unity LevelPlay for production interstitial advertising and mediation. The current mediation stack includes Unity Ads. Cookie Cub uses Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) for privacy and consent management. Relevant Google components may process information as described in Google’s privacy practices.

Third-party advertising and consent SDKs may process information needed for advertising, consent, fraud prevention, measurement, diagnostics, and service operation. Depending on the provider, this may include device or advertising identifiers, IP or network information, general location inferred from network or IP, app or product interactions, diagnostic information, and privacy or consent signals. This is processing by the relevant third-party services; it does not mean Bamboo Vale Games receives all of that information.

These services include Unity LevelPlay / ironSource and Unity Ads privacy information and Google privacy information.

Advertising requests are permitted only when the privacy and consent system allows them. This technical state is not treated as proof that a person has consented to personalized advertising. If advertising is unavailable, gameplay continues.

Privacy choices and consent

Google UMP updates consent and privacy information when the game launches and may present privacy or consent choices in applicable regions before advertising requests are permitted. In the Settings menu, a Privacy Options control may be available when UMP reports that it is required.

For users in applicable U.S. states, the UMP privacy message may offer choices about allowing or opting out of sale or sharing of data. Where applicable, UMP choices may use industry-standard privacy signals such as IAB TCF or GPP.

Remove Ads and purchases

Cookie Cub uses Unity IAP and the platform app store purchasing system to offer a non-consumable Remove Ads purchase. Payment and account information are handled by the platform store; Cookie Cub does not operate its own payment server. The game checks or restores the platform entitlement and keeps a local Remove Ads state/cache. A successful Remove Ads entitlement suppresses future interstitial advertising.

Removing ads does not necessarily erase consent records or information previously processed by third-party services. Please review the relevant provider and platform-store privacy information for their practices.

Children’s privacy and audience treatment

The advertising configuration currently treats Cookie Cub as not child-directed. This is a technical advertising setting, not a statement about the game’s intended audience or a legal conclusion.

Data retention

Local scores, preferences, and the Remove Ads cache remain on your device until changed, reset, or removed through uninstalling the game, as applicable. Retention by third-party services is governed by their own practices and privacy policies.

Security and third-party processing

Cookie Cub relies on the platform store and the third-party services described above for their respective functions. Their handling of information is governed by their own policies and practices.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when Cookie Cub’s features or services change. The current version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
